Tuition & Studio Policies

Registration Fee: $50.00 non-refundable yearly registration fee payable directly to
Registration fee must be received before time is officially reserved.
Tuition: The semester tuition includes the following: 16 lessons, 1 performance class, and 1 1 recital. Tuition may be paid in full or in two equal payments. If the installment plan is chosen, the total is divided into five equal monthly payments, plus a $5 monthly processing fee. *See chart below for payment schedule. Payment is due in advance on the 1st of the month.
Private lesson: $37.50 per 1/2-hour lesson; $50 per 45-min; $75 per 1-hour lesson.
Sibling Class: a semi-private class of 45 min. duration. Students must be at same level and within 5 years apart. $70 per class.
Payment Plan: 5 Payments August - December / January - May
Beginner- $150 monthly ($750 per semester)
Intermediate- $200 monthly ($1000 per semester)
Advanced- $300 monthly ($1500 per semester)
Sibling Class- $280 monthly ($1400 per semester)
Payment may be made by cash, check, with PayPal or Zelle.
Students may not receive more than two lessons without payment. Students with unpaid tuition will not be allowed to participate in recitals or performance classes.
Late Fee: A $10 late fee is added after the 10th of the month.
In-Home lesson Fee: Additional trip charge by location starting at $25 per lesson.
Online Lessons: Students may elect to have their lessons virtually. Please make sure to discuss the proper set-up with your instructor.
Performance Classes: Performance classes are offered once per semester to promote musicianship and group interaction. This is a class for students and parents only--not for guests. Class fee is included with semester tuition.
Additional Fees: Fees associated with the purchase of books, theory testing, auditions, festivals, etc. are billed separately.
Make-up Policy: The student is allowed two make-ups per semester provided that advance notice is given of the student’s absence.

Make-up lessons may be given virtually (Zoom or FaceTime).

The make-up lesson, if missed for any reason, is not rescheduled.

Any teacher cancellation will be made up by the teacher or credited to your account.

Tardiness: If a student is 10 min. late or more without notice, it will be considered a “no-show,” and time lost will not be made-up.
Withdrawal: Enrollment is for the duration of each semester. However, if one chooses to withdraw, a two-week notice before the next billing cycle is required, otherwise tuition for the upcoming month will still be due and charged to your account. A consultation with the instructor is advisable before making the decision to withdraw.
Refunds: If advanced payment has been received, but the student is unable to continue lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, a 90% refund of the balance of tuition will be given. Registration fee is not refundable.
Student Dismissal: The Instructor reserves the right to dismiss a student for the following reasons:

Unpaid tuition.

Discipline problems.

Chronic failure to practice.
